Small Business Forum

The IRS and the City of Bellevue’s Office of Economic Development are hosting a Washington Small Business Forum from 9 to noon on Friday, Dec. 4, at Bellevue City Hall. Speakers include:

Karen Pemerl of the Governor's Office of Regulatory Assistance will discuss new tools available on Business.wa.gov, including a Web page where you can find the latest state legislative changes in an interactive/sortable form, and a new Spanish language video on state business taxes.
Rob Rice from the Washington State Department of Revenue will discuss the new reseller permits that go into effect January 1. The permits replace the old resale certificates, and allow businesses to purchase items or services for resale without paying retail sales tax.
George Sharp from the Washington State Department of Commerce will chat about the various programs they have for small businesses, including information on international trade, revitalization, grants and loans.
