OLYMPIA — In an action brought by the Attorney General’s Office, the Washington State Labor Council (WSLC) will pay the state $16,622 over the organization’s failure to timely and properly file lobbyist employer reports of in-kind and cash contributions, as required under the state’s campaign finance laws.

OLYMPIA — Granting a request from Attorney General Bob Ferguson, a Snohomish County Superior Court judge today ruled that Tim Eyman and his political committees violated her June 29 order by failing to meet the court-ordered deadline for disclosing documents in the Attorney General’s campaign finance probe.

OLYMPIA — Attorney General Bob Ferguson is asking a Snohomish County Superior Court judge to hold Tim Eyman and his political committees in contempt for failing to meet the court-ordered deadline for disclosing documents in the Attorney General’s campaign finance probe. A similar motion regarding for-profit signature gathering firm Citizen Solutions will be filed later today in Thurston County.

OLYMPIA — A Thurston County judge today granted Attorney General Bob Ferguson’s request to enforce subpoenas issued in the investigation of for-profit signature gathering firm Citizen Solutions, in connection with the AG’s investigation of the firm, as well as Tim Eyman, his political committees and his for-profit company.

SEATTLE — Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced that he filed petitions today in Snohomish and Thurston County Superior Courts asking each court to enforce subpoenas issued in the state’s investigation of Tim Eyman, his political committees, his for-profit company, and a for-profit signature gathering company.

OLYMPIA — A Thurston County Superior Court judge today postponed the trial to determine whether the Grocery Manufacturers Association’s violation of Washington campaign finance disclosure laws was intentional, and what penalties it should face, to August 15. The trial, which began this morning, was quickly rescheduled when the court addressed GMA’s untimely disclosure of evidence.
