FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

VANCOUVER – The Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) announced today that Michelle Zabroski, 46, of Ridgefield was charged in Clark County Superior Court with one count of First Degree Theft and 32 counts of Medicaid False Statement.

The Attorney General’s Office says that between 2007 and 2009, Zabroski billed Medicaid for hours and services not provided, receiving more than $80,000. Zabroski is also accused, in charges filed by the Clark County prosecutor, of fraudulently writing and cashing $12,000 in personal checks from the victim’s bank account.

The MFCU prosecution team consists of Assistant Attorney General Dawn Cortez and Investigator Beverly Maddox.
