Administration had asked for case to be held until new order is issued

Attorney General Bob Ferguson issued the following statement on today’s ruling by the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit denying the Trump Administration’s motion to delay proceedings on its appeal. Ferguson had argued that the case should move forward, and the appellate court agreed.

"Despite the Trump Administration's repeated requests for delay, the courts agree with my office that this case should move forward," Ferguson said.
