AUTHORITY TO REQUIRE CONCRETE PRODUCTS BE MANUFACTURED IN UNITED STATES The Department of Transportation does not have the statutory authority to require precast/prestressed concrete products to be manufactured in the United States for the purpose of protecting local industries from unfair competition by foreign manufacturers.
