As a volunteer intern with our Consumer Protection and Public Affairs teams, Lisa Borkowski was an occasional voice on All Consuming. But she was recently lured away from us by a new (paying) job. We’re happy for her, but will selfishly miss her super-duper work ethic.
Speaking of volunteer opportunities, our Consumer Resource Centers are always looking for help. Volunteers answer consumer inquiries, provide informal mediation between consumers and businesses and educate Washington residents about how to avoid becoming fraud victims. Volunteering is great way to learn more about consumer protection issues while making a difference.
