Other LanguagesThe U.S. Transportation Department has extended the deadline for dealers to file Cash for Clunkers applications once again, this time until 5 PDT tonight (Tuesday, Aug. 25). It's the second deadline extension since last week and is blamed on computer problems. The Web site at www.cars.gov indicates that no new sales will be accepted.
