Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you need to protect your identity just as you would your valuables. - Pack only what you need.
- Inform your credit card company that you’re traveling.
- Delete sensitive information from your laptop and cell phone.
- During your trip, wear a money belt and use the hotel safe to store valuables and copies of important documents.
- Smart travelers have several ways to pay. A credit card gives you better fraud protection than a debit card.
