This just in from the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG)!

Debt collection complaints topped NAAG's 2007 list of consumer complaints, climbing one spot from last year’s list.  NAAG also reports auto sales moved up a spot to number two. Home repair and construction dropped two spots from 2006’s top complaint to the number three slot.

Telecommunications, slamming, and cramming remained the fourth most common complaint, and general automotive complaints moved up one spot to number five.  Telemarketing and Do-Not-Call complaints dropped to number six, while financial and investment-related complaints (seven) appeared in the top 10 for the first time since 2005.  Here are the rest of the results:
