OLYMPIA - Senior U.S. District Judge Alan McDonald today ruled on summary judgment in United States. v. Manning that Initiative 297, the Cleanup Priority Act, is unconstitutional in its entirety.
OLYMPIA— Attorney General Rob McKenna will visit Olympic High School in Bremerton tomorrow as part of the on-going schedule of school visits in his “Operation: Allied Against Meth" campaign.

OLYMPIA…The Attorney General’s Sexually Violent Predator Unit recently won two civil commitment cases preventing two of the state’s most sexually violent predators from returning to society.
OLYMPIA –The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington today granted summary judgment in the state’s favor on one claim in a lawsuit filed by the state in March 2003 to stop the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) from shipping transuranic mixed waste to Hanford from other DOE sites around the country.
SEATTLE – Attorney General Rob McKenna supported an important Washington State Supreme Court decision upholding an order to commit a convicted sex predator whose victims included children and a developmentally delayed woman.
