AG Ferguson: Federal judge invalidates Trump Administration’s reinterpretation of Medicaid Act
OLYMPIA — Attorney General Bob Ferguson issued the following statement today after a federal judge in northern California ruled that the Trump Administration’s reinterpretation of a long-standing provision of the Medicaid Act that allows voluntary payroll deductions — such as union dues and health care premiums — from payments to in-home caregivers is invalid.

AG Ferguson: Mesh manufacturer Bard must pay Washington $2.38 million for failing to disclose the risks of its transvaginal mesh devices
Attorney General Bob Ferguson today announced that Bard, a medical device manufacturer and formerly one of the biggest manufacturers of transvaginal mesh devices, will pay $2.38 million to Washington for misrepresentations and failure to include serious risks in the instructions and marketing materials for surgical mesh devices.

AG Ferguson to Trump Administration: Coronavirus data must be reported to CDC
Attorney General Bob Ferguson today partnered with a coalition of state attorneys general urging the Trump Administration to immediately withdraw its new reporting structure that prohibits hospitals from reporting COVID-19 data to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The directive creates a system controlled solely by the U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services.

AG Ferguson files lawsuit against Seattle business that marketed and sold a COVID-19 “vaccine”
SEATTLE — Attorney General Bob Ferguson filed a consumer protection lawsuit today against a Redmond business and its owner for advertising a so-called COVID-19 “vaccine.” The lawsuit comes just over a month after Ferguson sent a cease and desist letter to the company, North Coast Biologics, and its owner, Johnny T. Stine.

AG Ferguson: Seattle Pain Center to pay back $1.1 million to state Medicaid program over excessive urine tests
Attorney General Bob Ferguson today announced that Seattle Pain Center, a shuttered network of eight pain clinics formerly owned by Dr. Frank Li, will pay $1.1 million to Washington’s Medicaid program.

AG Ferguson: Federal judge blocks Trump Administration rule aimed at undermining Washington women’s access to reproductive health care
YAKIMA — Attorney General Bob Ferguson today announced that an Eastern Washington federal judge declared the Trump Administration’s Double-Billing Rule “invalid, and without force in Washington” because it violates Washington State’s Reproductive Health Care Access for All Act. This is Ferguson’s second legal victory against the federal government this week. Ferguson is now 28-1 in litigation against the Trump Administration. Seventeen of those victories are final and cannot be appealed.

AG Ferguson sues Trump Administration over health insurance rule targeting reproductive health coverage
Attorney General Bob Ferguson today filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration over its rule requiring health insurance companies to send consumers two separate bills for monthly insurance premiums: one for abortion coverage and another for all other coverage. This unlawful rule would affect more than 200,000 Washingtonians and cause many to inadvertently fail to pay their premiums in full, jeopardizing their health coverage.
