Comments can be made in person at a public hearing, in writing, or by submitting a comment form at online. In major UTC cases, all written comments are submitted as a formal exhibit for the record in the case.

How to Comment

Consumer comments on rate cases, mergers, rulemakings and other cases provide valuable input to the Commission as it makes decisions. You can submit comments by contacting the UTC:

  • In writing at:
    P.O. Box 47250,
    Olympia, WA 98504-7250
  • By fax at 360-664-3604
