An employer may be compelled to provide welding gloves and welding helmets for his employees, except in cases where particular employees may prefer to use their own gloves and helmets; but an employer may not be compelled to furnish welding jackets and pants.   It is the responsibility of the employer to see that proper safety equipment is used by his employees.
