Our policy is consistent with the AGO’s model policy except for the following:
• Section 300.7. – We added the following to the policy, “Identification is unnecessary when the officer has objectively reasonable grounds to believe the person is aware of this fact.”
• We do not issue Projectile Impact Weapons –Therefore, we did not include the model policy language for Project Impact Weapons.
• We do not issue Electronic Control Weapons - Therefore, we did not include the model policy language for Electronic Control Weapons.
• We do not issue Spit Guards - Therefore, we did not include the model policy language for Spit Guards.
