Substitute Senate Bill 6360: Consolidating Traffic-Based Financial Obligations in Washington State
On December 1, 2017 Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson submitted a Report to the State Legislature titled “Consolidating Traffic-Based Financial Obligations: Recommended Plan and Program.” This Report was developed in response to Substitute Senate Bill 6360 (2016), which was requested by the Attonrey General's Office and subsequently adopted by the Washington State Legislature. That legislation called for the Attorney General's Office to develop a plan and program for the efficient statewide consolidation of an indivdual's traffic-based financial obligations imposed by courts of limited jurisdiction into a unified and affordable payment plan, and to submit a report detailing the plan and program developed and the Attorney General's recommendations.

House Bill 1352: State Agency Audits, Inspections, and Enforcement Actions Affecting Small Businesses in Washington State
On November 30, 2017 Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson submitted a Report to the State Legislature titled “State Agency Audits, Inspections, and Enforcement Actions Affecting Small Businesses in Washington State.” This Report was developed in response to House Bill 1352 adopted by the Washington State Legislature in 2017. That legislation requested information regarding: the authorities and responsibilities of six state agencies; the rights and protections provided to small businesses subject to inspection, audit or enforcement action by those agencies; the way in which agencies communicate information about those rights or protections to business owners prior to or at the time of agency action; and recommended steps to improve those rights or protections and/or access to timely information about them.
