A couple of interesting tidbits from our local consumer news reporters: You can’t put a price on love, but apparently you can insure it. KOMO TV reports that because of all the things that can go wrong, more couples are adding special insurance to their wedding plans. You can even buy a “Change of Heart” plan from one company in case the bride or groom gets cold feet!

The Seattle P-I comments on a report released today by the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Transportation that found some major airlines don't have policies for how long they'll corral passengers on a delayed plane. Other airlines say they may require you to wait up to four hours for a departure or two hours for an arrival. Our advice: Since most of us will likely continue to fly, be prepared in you're stuck in coach. Bring a good book or your IiPod, some snacks and a cell phone so you can tell your friends or business associates you’ll be late. And load up that diaper bag with extra disposables and formula if you’re toting a tyke.
