SEATTLE December 10, 1998 - Washington's settlement with one of the defendants in an antitrust suit against three national toymakers and a toy retailer will mean a happier holiday season for thousands of the less-fortunate children statewide. 
Washington, D.C. -November 16, 1998 - A historic settlement proposal, that mandates the most significant legal reform in the tobacco industry and the largest financial recovery in the nation's history, was negotiated and released today by a team of eight Attorneys General.
At this time the Washington State Attorney General's Office has declined to join the lawsuit brought by some Attorneys General against Microsoft.
SEATTLE - May, 1, 1998 --Today, the Shell Oil Company announced that it plans to sell its Anacortes refinery to the Tesoro Petroleum Corporation, which supplies gas to approximately 30 retail locations in Southwestern Washington and Oregon and owns refineries in Alaska and Hawaii.
Olympia- December 19, 1997 - The State of Washington today joined three other states and the Federal Trade Commission in signing consent decrees aimed at keeping gasoline prices competitive.
Seattle - June 25, 1997 - Attorney General Christine Gregoire today announced Washington state will receive nearly $264,000 as part of a $3.9 million multi-state settlement with a national agricultural chemical manufacturer for allegedly fixing the resale prices of its chemicals.
SEATTLE Attorney General Christine Gregoire today filed an antitrust lawsuit alleging Ken Behring, the Seattle Seahawks owner, used unfair and anti-competitive business practices in attempting to move his team to Southern California.
