Olympia - Attorney General Rob McKenna will testify on two of his top priority bills tomorrow in the House Criminal Justice and Corrections Committee.
OLYMPIA - As the Legislature passes the halfway point of the 2006 session, a series of bills requested by Attorney General Rob McKenna to protect children and communities, reduce crime and enhance open government continue to move toward becoming law.
OLYMPIA– The Washington State Senate today approved a bipartisan package of sex offender bills developed by Attorney General Rob McKenna and his office’s Sexually Violent Predator Unit.
OLYMPIA - After rallying a group of city officials in Olympia for the Association of Washington Cities’ legislative days, Attorney General Rob McKenna and attorneys from the office’s liability division will testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the need for new government liability standards to reduce taxpayer exposure to government liability.

After soliciting recommendations from experts in Attorney General’s Sexually Violent Predator Unit who work with prosecuting attorneys across the state, Attorney General Rob McKenna has asked a bipartisan group of legislators to sponsor seven bills that would improve the state’s ability to protect children and communities from sex offenders.
